Tuesday's Underground Lowdown
The video does a pretty good job going through the timeline of the history of graffiti putting nearly 30 years inside of a 15 minute video. Not sure how much of it is 100% accurate, a lot of it seems to be given our own knowledge but we didn't do any research on their exact time line claims.
Our only issue is the narrator's voice, it is not exactly something you can listen to for 15 minutes and then want to listen to again, ha-ha. Some more real video footage would have been helpful too.
Our apologies to the narrator but we're not going to sugar coat it. We know how difficult it is to put a video together and we respect the work and any research they did. However, maybe use a better mic and throw some background music in too.

Wu Wednesday
Our attitudes about what people think... seriously we're doing this for the love of the game. Graffiti is not to be bought and sold but it is to be shared. Our prints profit is to the artists themselves who have put in decades of work to get where they are. Any profits we collect is reinvested to the next generation of prints. We have big-big plans for the graffiti world but see miles ahead of us to get where we want to be.
Enjoy this track because we think it's ill!

**BIG NEWS**
We are happy and excited to announce that we have acquired GraffHead's YouTube account. A reputable organization with nearly 10,000 subscribers and over 3 million views, it made sense. Approached them after we discovered this dormant account and reached an agreement to help keep it alive by using the account to upload our own videos into.

Do we really have a new Wu-Tang Clan song and video? Someone pinch me because it can't be real.
Such fire and as if they picked up where they left off. Enjoy cause your week can only go down here from here, ha-ha!

He is still around and kicking, still making some fresh music (especially by today's standards). Definitely recommend going down memory lane and checking his tracks off his YouTube. If you have never heard of him and you like today's music, well, you're lost anyways...

Tuesday's Underground Lowdown
Seriously, this is a well done short piece on the history of graffiti done by PBS. Informative as it dives into the historical relevance and the evolution of the graffiti scene as we know it today. Interviews by the authors of "The History of American Graffiti,"as they explain a bit of the scene and its history.

Definitely a dope DVD for the freight writer, has everything a freight writer would want to see. It drags at times, especially at the action scenes, but once you fast forward through those times it picks up again. At 1hour and 42min running time, you def get your money's worth. This video was definitely made by freight writers for freight writers. Made back in 2004 it does show its age given we now have widescreens and 4k video; however, it doesnt take away from its legendary status and relevance today. Features some live action painting and train hopping with KWEST and SENSR, and a hobo interview with Malachi aka ''RIDE HARD RETARD''. YouTube description brags that "this film had worldwide distribution with over 7,800 copies being sold." A real dope original soundtrack mixed by SOE1 throughout the video

We can't remember if we've features Mac Miller on the blog or not. Anyways, he's pretty fresh and reminds us some ol school 90s flow that has been updated... if that makes sense. This song isn't particularly our favorite but it's a good summer song.

Tuesday's Underground Lowdown
Piece By Piece was not like any other graffiti video we've seen. A really well organized video on the history of graffiti in San Francisco that goes back to the early 80's. This is a true documentary and entertaining with the professionalism that could be comparable to the classic film, Style Wars.
You don't have to be from or live in the bay area to appreciate or be entertained by this documentary. From the interviews of the artists who lived it; it was really informative and gave it to you straight. The directors really did do a good job at capturing the graffiti mentality and stayed structured in the different eras within the bay area's graffiti subculture. This is a pretty ill video for any writer or just someone who's interested in this criminal but highly artistic art form.
